Senior iOS Application Engineer / Consultant

to drive the end-to-end lifecycle—from design and development to testing, deployment, and production support—of our mission-critical

, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the autonomy to deliver complex enhancements within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Core Architecture & Development: Design, build, enhance, and maintain the E-Citations iOS application leveraging .NET MAUI, C#, and XAML, incorporating native iOS APIs where necessary.

  • Offline-First Capabilities: Architect robust offline functionality, covering local storage, data caching, background sync, retry patterns, conflict resolution, and seamless offline/online data reconciliation.

  • Enterprise & API Integrations: Securely integrate with REST/GraphQL APIs, .NET backend services, Azure cloud environments, relational databases, and core enterprise systems.

  • Hardware Integration: Build and support Bluetooth/BLE integrations, focusing specifically on Zebra ZQ-series mobile printers, connection recovery, and comprehensive printer status/error handling.

  • Advanced Device Workflows: Implement camera utilities, photo capture, barcode scanning, OCR, document scanning, and identity-related workflows via .NET MAUI and native iOS features.

  • Security & Compliance: Enforce secure authentication and top-tier data protection protocols using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, Keychain, advanced encryption, and certificate pinning.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute unit, integration, regression, UI, and performance testing while resolving complex connectivity, integration, and live production bugs.

  • DevOps & Lifecycle Support: Facilitate CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, code signing, provisioning profiles, release workflows, and application telemetry.

  • Collaboration: Actively engage in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical demonstrations, release planning, and comprehensive documentation creation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Primary Tech Stack: Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise-grade mobile applications with .NET MAUI and C# targeting iOS.

  • Architecture Patterns: Strong command of XAML, .NET MAUI Community Toolkit, .NET MAUI Essentials, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Dependency Injection.

  • Data & Connectivity: Proven expertise in offline-first design (SQLite, local caching, synchronization logic) and backend integrations (REST/GraphQL, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Azure, SQL Server).

  • Peripheral Integration: Direct experience with Bluetooth/BLE, Zebra mobile printers (ZQ-series), and corresponding SDKs.

  • Security & Management: Deep knowledge of enterprise security practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption, Keychain) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE/AirWatch, or Jamf.

  • Tooling & Deployment: Proficiency with Git, GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD systems (Jenkins/Bitrise), App Store Connect, APNs, telemetry tools, and crash reporting suites.

Preferred Experience

  • Background supporting public-sector, public-safety, transportation, enforcement, citation, or demanding field-workforce applications involving mobile printing, secure integration, and mission-critical reliability.
