Senior iOS Application Engineer - New York, NY (Hybrid Role)

Position: Senior iOS Application Engineer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid Role)

Duration: 6-12+Months

• Design & Development: Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise-level iOS applications using .NET MAUI and C#.

• Architecture & Integration: Architect and integrate secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile features, including connections to REST/GraphQL APIs, .NET backend, Azure services, SQL Server databases, and enterprise systems.

• Offline-First Capabilities: Build robust offline-first capabilities with local storage, data caching, background synchronization, retry logic, and conflict resolution.

• Device & Peripheral Integration: Implement Bluetooth/BLE and Zebra ZQ-series mobile printer integrations, including error handling and connection recovery.

• Native Features: Integrate camera, barcode scanning, OCR, document capture, and identity verification features using .NET MAUI and native iOS APIs.

• Security: Ensure secure authentication, data protection, and application hardening using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, Keychain, encryption, and certificate pinning.

• User Experience: Develop responsive, accessible, and field-friendly user interfaces optimized for rapid operational workflows.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform unit, integration, regression, UI, and performance testing; troubleshoot and resolve application, connectivity, and production issues.

• CI/CD & Deployment: Support CI/CD pipelines, automated build and release processes, provisioning, code signing, telemetry, and production support.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams, and participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning.

• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for developed features, integrations, deployment, and operational support.

• Required Experience: 10-15 years of hands-on enterprise mobile development, including .NET MAUI, C#, XAML, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Bluetooth/BLE, Zebra SDK, Azure, and mobile security.

• Preferred Experience: Background in public-sector/field workforce solutions, particularly those involving mobile printing, secure integration, and mission-critical operations.

• Tools & Platforms: Proficient with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins/Bitrise, App Store Connect, MDM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, Jamf), and mobile analytics/crash reporting tools.
