Job description

**For context on the role, this position supports a new cloud-based application used by internal PRAC teams. It is technically a full-stack role, but the focus is heavily backend, and historically, they have also asked a few front-end questions during interviews. They are looking for a senior Java developer with hands-on experience in Java and Spring, along with strong AWS skills, since you would be helping build this new cloud-based application and support other ongoing projects using Spring, Java, and AWS.

The core skills they are looking for include the Spring Framework, strong Java experience with a backend focus at about eighty percent, SQL and Oracle experience, including the ability to write queries and PL SQL, and AWS cloud experience covering Kubernetes, Docker, EC2, and EKS. On the nice-to-have side, PRAC uses JBoss for their application servers, so if you have experience with JBoss or Tomcat, you may be asked about it. Exposure to Copilot is also a plus since it is widely used within the team.**
