Who we are looking for
We are modernizing a mission-critical custody and securities processing platform supporting high-volume post-trade operations. The platform processes large-scale financial transactions with stringent requirements for availability, resiliency, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across both legacy and modern technology environments.
We are seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer with strong technical leadership experience to lead engineering teams providing system architecture design and team leadership bridging the gap between high-level product goals and everyday technical execution.
This role is ideal for someone who:

Leads high-performing engineering teams responsible for mission-critical financial platforms

Navigates complex technical and operational challenges in high-volume transaction processing environments

Influences technology strategy, platform evolution, and modernization initiatives

Drives architectural decisions, integration patterns, and engineering best practices across the organization
What you will be responsible for
Engineering Leadership and Delivery

Establish and drive architectural direction, integration strategies, and engineering best practices across critical business platforms

Build, develop, and lead high-performing engineering teams focused on quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement

Own delivery outcomes for mission-critical platform capabilities, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and reliability

Partner with product, operations, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions across complex, interconnected workflows and regulatory environments

Drive platform evolution through modernization initiatives, process optimization, and technology lifecycle management

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Experience:10+ years of software development experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior technical leadership role

Agile delivery experience in large-scale enterprise environments

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Work Requirement

Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote

Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Salary Range:
$120,000 - $217,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
