About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Network Software Engineer

to design and develop high-performance networking software for next-generation data center and AI infrastructure.

In this role, you will build and maintain the software layer that bridges the network operating system and

Marvell switching hardware

. You will work on low-level networking software, drivers, packet forwarding, routing, traffic management, and integration with Marvell SDKs to enable high-speed and scalable networking solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer with strong expertise in

C/C++, Linux networking, network operating systems, switching ASICs, and Marvell silicon

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance networking software using

C/C++

.
Develop software and drivers that interface between the network operating system and

Marvell switching ASICs

.
Translate routing, forwarding, and networking policies into hardware-specific instructions.
Integrate and work with

Marvell SDKs

, including

CPSS and/or SAI

.
Develop and optimize Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking functionality.
Work with packet forwarding, routing, ACLs/security filters, traffic management, and network telemetry.
Develop and enhance Linux kernel and user-space networking components.
Support networking protocols and technologies such as

BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, and other L2/L3 technologies

.
Optimize network performance for high-speed data centers and

AI/ML cluster workloads

.
Debug complex software, networking, driver, and hardware integration issues.
Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, platform, and network software engineering teams.
Participate in architecture, design reviews, code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience

.
Strong hands-on programming experience with

C and C++

.
Strong experience with

Linux-based networking

, including kernel and/or user-space networking.
Experience developing

network software, switching software, network drivers, or network operating system components

.
Strong understanding of

Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking

.
Hands-on experience with networking technologies and protocols such as:
BGP
EVPN
VXLAN
Routing and packet forwarding
Experience programming or integrating with

network switching ASICs

.
Hands-on experience with

Marvell switching silicon

or Marvell SDKs.
Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:
Marvell Prestera
Marvell Falcon
Marvell Teralynx
CPSS
SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface)
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a senior networking software engineer who combines deep

C/C++ and Linux expertise

with hands-on experience developing software for

network switches and ASIC-based platforms

Candidates with direct experience working with

Marvell switching silicon, CPSS, SAI, Prestera, Falcon, or Teralynx

will be strongly preferred.
