Role Description

The Senior Power BI/Financial Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data solutions that support financial reporting, analytics, and performance management. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing Power BI dashboards, creating robust data models, and implementing reliable ETL pipelines to integrate financial data from multiple sources. The role involves collaborating with finance and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy, and improving data quality and accessibility for decision-makers. The engineer will also support data warehousing initiatives, performance tuning, and documentation of data processes and standards. This is a contract, on-site role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering skills, including Data Engineering and Extract Transform Load (ETL) for financial and business data.

• Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to support scalable reporting and analytics solutions.

• Experience in Data Analytics, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.

• Advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, Power Query, and dashboard/report design tailored to finance and executive stakeholders.

• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases; experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or similar) is an advantage.

• Background in financial data, accounting concepts, or corporate finance; prior experience supporting FP&A or financial reporting teams is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications in BI or data engineering are a plus.

• Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and communicate clearly in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
