Senior Product Designer – Design Systems & AI

We are partnering with a growing technology organisation to appoint a Senior Product Designer to shape the design of AI-powered products across web and mobile.

This is a hands-on role combining product design, interaction design, visual design and design-system development. You will design products that are actively shipping while building the reusable foundations that allow engineering teams to deliver consistent experiences across multiple products.

The role is suited to a designer with strong product craft and proven experience building production design systems. You will work closely with engineering to turn design decisions into reusable components, tokens, documentation and implementation-ready assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user flows, screens, interactions and product states across web and mobile.

• Establish a consistent visual language across typography, colour, spacing, layout, iconography and motion.

• Build and maintain a scalable design system covering tokens, components, patterns and usage guidelines.

• Create design libraries and assets that engineering teams can use directly.

• Translate design decisions into implementation-ready specifications and documentation.

• Design AI-specific experiences including conversational interfaces, generated content, system activity, errors and human approval workflows.

• Work with engineers to review implementation and improve the system based on real product usage.

• Use AI tooling to accelerate design, prototyping and development handoff.

• Manage system evolution through documentation, versioning and removal of outdated patterns.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in product, UX/UI or digital product design.

• Strong portfolio of shipped products across web and mobile.

• Excellent visual and interaction design skills with strong attention to detail.

• Proven experience building and maintaining production design systems.

• Advanced Figma experience, including components, variables, auto layout and shared libraries.

• Experience translating design systems into assets that engineering teams can implement directly.

• Strong understanding of responsive and cross-platform product design.

• Experience using AI tools within design and product workflows.

• Experience designing AI-powered, conversational or agent-based products is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence engineering teams through collaboration rather than authority.

Nice to Have

• Accessibility and WCAG experience.

• RTL and bilingual product experience, particularly Arabic and English.

• Usability testing or user research.

• Experience supporting multiple product teams through one shared design system.
