Duties & Responsibilities
-
Develop and maintain the product roadmap for the Structured Debt Client Platform based on business strategy, client needs, and platform priorities.
-
Work with business, technology, operations, risk, and control teams to identify opportunities, pain points, dependencies, and areas for improvement.
-
Translate business goals into clearly defined product initiatives, priorities, and delivery plans.
-
Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing business value, client impact, risk, regulatory requirements, and technical dependencies.
-
Lead planning and execution of new initiatives, platform enhancements, and modernization efforts.
-
Establish product KPIs and other performance measures to track adoption, service quality, delivery, and business value.
-
Provide clear visibility into roadmap progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and tradeoffs for leadership and key stakeholders.
-
Partner with engineering and delivery teams throughout planning, development, release, and continuous improvement.
-
Support platform governance processes, operating routines, and cross-platform coordination.
-
Help develop business cases and communicate the expected value of new investments and capabilities.
-
Oversee key governance activities including change management, controls, validation reviews, issue resolution, compliance, and service-level reporting.
-
Monitor operational performance, incidents, escalations, and remediation activities to ensure issues are appropriately owned and resolved.
-
Support financial management activities including forecasting, approvals, and billing oversight.
-
Serve as a key point of contact for clients and trustees, ensuring their needs and concerns are incorporated into product and platform priorities.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
-
Significant experience in product management, platform management, business transformation, or strategic change within financial services or another complex enterprise environment.
-
Demonstrated experience taking products or platforms through the full lifecycle, from discovery and planning through delivery and adoption.
-
Strong understanding of product management, agile delivery, roadmap planning, and backlog management.
-
Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders and bringing multiple teams together around common priorities.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in complex environments.
-
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
-
Experience working in a highly regulated environment where risk, controls, compliance, and governance are important parts of product delivery.
-
Ability to balance long-term product strategy with the day-to-day execution required to move initiatives forward.
Preferred Experience
-
Experience with structured debt, capital markets, asset servicing, trustee services, or related financial products.
-
Background managing complex enterprise platforms or product portfolios.
-
Experience with client-facing platform transformation or digital enablement initiatives.
-
Experience establishing and managing product KPIs, OKRs, SLAs, or other performance metrics.
-
Experience with roadmap governance, investment prioritization, and business case development.
