ABOUT YOU:

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, definition, development, launch, and lifecycle of assigned products or product categories. This role serves as the product owner and consumer advocate, translating market, rider, competitive, and business insights into compelling products that deliver against the brand's performance, commercial, and strategic objectives.

The Senior Product Manager owns the product from concept through end of life, establishing the product vision, requirements, business case, and priorities while leading cross-functional teams through development and commercialization.

This role works closely with Engineering, Industrial Design, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Quality, and Finance and is expected to influence decisions across the organization without relying on direct authority. The Senior Product Manager leads complex, high-impact products with broad strategic ownership, making critical decisions and aligning cross-functional teams around a common product vision.

This role will require you to be onsite at Cervelo’s HQ in Aliso Viejo, CA

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?

  • Own product strategy and vision based on consumer, market, competitive, and technology insights.

  • Lead product development from concept to launch to meet performance, quality, cost, and timing goals.

  • Define product requirements and priorities and make tradeoffs that maximize consumer and business value.

  • Own product financials, including business cases, cost, pricing, margin, and commercial performance.

  • Lead product positioning and commercialization in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams.

  • Manage the product lifecycle from launch through optimization, refresh, and end of life.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making across Product, Engineering, Design, Quality, and Commercial teams.

  • Elevate Product Management practices through process improvement, best practices, and team mentorship.

** WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:**

  • 6+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a closely related discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience bringing physical products from concept through production and launch.

  • Strong understanding of product-development processes and cross-functional NPI.

  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Marketing.

  • Demonstrated ability to define product requirements and make product-level tradeoffs.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Strong organizational and project leadership skills.

  • Ability to balance consumer needs, product performance, business objectives, cost, quality, and timing.

  • Passion for cycling and strong understanding of bicycle products, technology, and the cycling consumer.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.

SALARY PAY RANGE: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of up to $135,000.
