Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical (Water Projects)

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical installation and construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.

• Oversee mechanical works involving pipelines, pumping systems, equipment and associated infrastructure.

• Review engineering drawings, technical submittals, method statements, material requirements and other project documentation.

• Coordinate with project management, engineering teams, clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.

• Manage site resources, including manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor activities.

• Monitor construction progress, identify execution constraints and implement corrective measures to maintain project schedules.

• Coordinate inspections, quality compliance, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable engineering standards and HSE requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience, preferably with EPC contractors.

• Proven experience in water supply, wastewater, sewerage or related utility infrastructure projects.

• Hands-on experience in mechanical construction, installation, site supervision and testing & commissioning.

• Good understanding of mechanical systems, piping works, equipment installation and construction methodologies.

• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and applicable engineering standards.

• Strong technical coordination, site management, leadership and communication skills.

• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
