What’s the role?

As a Senior Project Manager within Cash & Transaction Banking Technology, you'll lead some of our most complex and strategically important technology initiatives supporting Consumer and Business Banking transformation. This is a 12 months Max Term hybrid role based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country.

You'll oversee multiple concurrent initiatives across several delivery squads, bringing together product owners, architects, engineers, delivery teams and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomes. You'll manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies and investment priorities while balancing immediate delivery objectives with planning across future quarters.

Working in a highly visible delivery environment, you'll partner with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes across multiple teams, integrations and technology streams. You'll bring a strong understanding of software delivery, digital transformation and modern technology platforms, enabling you to engage confidently with architects and solution designers, challenge assumptions and help shape practical, customer focused solutions.

What do I need?

• Experience leading large scale technology projects or programs involving multiple teams, delivery streams and stakeholder groups

• Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, digital transformation and technology concepts, including APIs and front end and back end platforms

• Ability to confidently challenge, influence and collaborate with architects, solution designers and business stakeholders to achieve practical delivery outcomes

• Proven capability managing complex dependencies, competing priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining delivery momentum

• Experience within banking, financial services or core banking technology environments is highly regarded, with an engineering or software development background viewed favourably
