About the Role

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the successful delivery of projects across all phases, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

As a senior leader within the Projects Division, the role provides leadership, mentoring and development to Project Managers, Coordinators, Supervisors and project personnel, while supporting workforce planning, capability development and a high-performance team culture.

The Senior Project Manager will also contribute to business growth and profitability by strengthening client relationships, identifying new opportunities, managing project variations and ensuring projects achieve or exceed revenue, margin and profitability targets.

Key Accountabilities

• Senior Project Leadership - Lead and oversee multiple projects from planning through to completion, ensuring scope, schedule, resources, quality, risks, costs and contractual requirements are effectively managed.

• Leadership & Mentoring - Lead, mentor and develop project personnel, foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, support performance and identify capability and talent requirements.

• Stakeholder & Client Management - Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, project teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of progress, risks, issues and outcomes.

• HSEQ & Compliance - Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure project activities comply with company policies, legislative requirements and HSEQ standards, including SWMS, Take 5s, Pre-Starts and Toolbox Talks.

• Financial & Commercial Management - Manage project budgets, revenue forecasts, costs, progress claims, invoices and cost-to-complete reviews, with accountability for project profitability and financial performance.

• Business Growth & Profitability - Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support new business, while ensuring project variations are identified, approved, delivered and invoiced effectively.

• Risk & Contract Management - Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, manage contractual obligations and commercial risks, and implement corrective actions where required.

• Procurement & Subcontractor Management - Manage procurement and subcontractor engagements to achieve best value while maintaining quality, compliance, safety and contractual requirements.

• Resource & Logistics Management - Plan and coordinate resource scheduling, workforce allocation, site access, inductions, certifications, equipment, materials and logistics to support efficient project delivery.

• Project Governance & Administration - Ensure project records, documentation, reporting and correspondence are maintained accurately and in accordance with company and contractual requirements.

• Systems, Documentation & Handover - Oversee installation and test plans, commissioning plans, as-built documentation, training materials, manuals and handover requirements in collaboration with Engineering, Service Delivery and Operations.

• Continuous Improvement - Drive improvements across standards, systems, processes and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and business performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Security industry licence.

• Drivers licence.

• Construction induction – White Card.

• Asbestos Awareness.

• Working Safely with Asbestos.

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills.

• Previous experience in Administration and Project Management.

• Strong commercial acumen and financial management experience.

• Ability to hold and maintain any security clearance that may be required for the role.
