As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design and develop scalable, secure backend services and APIs using Python, PostgreSQL and Linux, contributing to a cloud-native SaaS platform that processes complex regulatory data at scale and supports leading financial institutions globally.

What You'll Do

• Build secure, high-performance web application backends and APIs using Python.

• Own key components of a cloud-based SaaS platform throughout the full software development lifecycle.

• Design and develop resilient, fault-tolerant software capable of operating reliably at scale.

• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical design, and prototyping of new platform capabilities.

• Contribute to DevOps processes, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions to complex technical and regulatory challenges.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

• At least 3 years of commercial Python backend development.

• Strong experience building backend services, APIs, or web applications.

• Excellent SQL and relational database design skills, ideally with PostgreSQL.

• Experience working with Linux environments.

• Experience with cloud platforms and modern CI/CD or DevOps practices is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, scalability, reliability, and secure application development.

Contract Terms

• 12-month contract

• 2/3 days on-site per month

• €450-€500 Daily Rate
