Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated tests for web, mobile, and APIs using Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or equivalent tools.

• Automate critical business flows based on functional requirements.

• Validate system integrations and data consistency using APIs and SQL.

• Use AI tools for test scenario generation, test data creation, automation development, log analysis, and defect investigation.

• Review AI-generated tests for accuracy, coverage, and maintainability.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and provide clear execution reports.

• Perform functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and UAT testing.

• Investigate failures, report defects, and support release readiness.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 4 years of QA experience, including 2 years of hands-on test automation.

• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.

• Practical experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Experience testing web applications and Android/iOS mobile applications.

• Experience with API automation, Postman, SQL, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Hands-on use of AI coding assistants or AI-assisted testing tools, with demonstrable practical results.

• Ability to troubleshoot unstable tests and investigate issues across connected systems.

• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

• Testing complex business workflows and third-party integrations.

• Performance testing.

• Safe handling of sensitive data when using AI tools.

• ISTQB certification.
