Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

Quantity surveyor is responsible to manage the costs of a construction project and ensure that project is completed within its projected budget. Responsibility includes - from initial estimates, to the final acquisition of materials right up to handing over the project.

Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to):

• Prepare tenders, contracts, and BOQs

• Estimate and control project costs

• Manage risks and contractual claims

• Monitor project progress and reporting

• Measure, value work, and process payments

• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders

• Handle variations and final accounts

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.

• Minimum 15 Years’ proven experience as a Quantity surveyor or any relevant role.

• UPDA – Grade A certification in Quantity Surveying.

Required Skills:

• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.

• A practical and logical mind and a methodical way of thinking.

• Proficient in MS Office & good knowledge in AutoCAD.

• Strong numeracy and financial management skills and the ability to learn sophisticated design and costing IT packages.
