Senior Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor specializing in Interior Fit-Out and Joinery to join our growing team in the UAE.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial and contractual knowledge with proven experience in cost management, tendering, procurement, and project delivery from tender stage through final account. This role requires excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost plans, and tender documents.

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

• Carry out material take-offs, rate analysis, and cost comparisons.

• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.

• Monitor project costs, variations, valuations, and claims.

• Prepare interim payment applications, payment certificates, and final accounts.

• Produce accurate cost reports and commercial forecasts.

• Ensure effective cost control and budget compliance throughout project execution.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.

• Manage procurement activities and contract administration.

• Maintain project documentation and support contract close-out.

• Provide commercial support and advice to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of Quantity Surveying experience in the UAE, with extensive exposure to interior fit-out and joinery projects.

• Thorough understanding of UAE construction contracts, commercial practices, and regulations.

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail.

Software Proficiency

Candidates should be proficient in:

• CostX

• PlanSwift

• Bluebeam

• AutoCAD (Basic to Intermediate)

• Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

• Microsoft Office Suite

Mandatory Requirements

• Valid UAE Driving License.

• Currently based in the UAE (preferred).
