Overview

As a Senior Software Developer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying secure, scalable applications that support enterprise and mission operations.

Clearance Level Required

Active Top Secret/SCI with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications using modern development practices

• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures

• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following secure coding standards

• Build automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers

• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis to improve reliability and performance

• Work with DevSecOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment

• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical roadmaps, and modernization initiatives

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, architects, and fellow developers in Agile sprints

Required Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract

• 8+ years of professional software development experience

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or a Master's with 6+ years, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree

• Strong proficiency in one or more object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, Python, or C++

• Experience developing web-based and enterprise software applications

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs

• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases

• Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns

• Experience with Git or another distributed version control system

• Experience in Agile Scrum or SAFe environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud-native development in AWS, Azure, or another cloud platform

• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes

• Microservices architecture

• DevSecOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps

• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Ansible

• Message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Elasticsearch, Redis, or similar enterprise technologies

• Secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year
