Job description

  • Experience LiveOps builds the runtime tools creators use to operate and tune their live experiences — without shipping a code release. Our surfaces include Remote Configs (targeted, scheduled, and AI-assisted configuration), A/B Experimentation with real metrics and early harm detection, audience Segmentation, and Open Cloud / public APIs that expose all of it programmatically

  • As a Software Engineer on the team, you’ll work full-stack — across our backend services and the creator-hub web app (TypeScript/React) — to ship features that let every creator run live-ops the way large studios do: safely, and at platform scale

  • You’ll own meaningful pieces from day one and work closely with senior and principal engineers, our PM, and design. Join us and give the entire creator community live-ops superpowers

  • Build and ship features across ELO’s config, experimentation, and segmentation surfaces — backend services and the creator-hub UI

  • Own projects end-to-end (spec → launch) with support from senior/principal engineers on the team

  • Partner with PM, design, DSA/Discovery, and Data Platform to deliver high-quality, well-instrumented features

  • Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with teammates, and take part in the team’s on-call rotation- 5+ years building and shipping production software, with strong CS fundamentals. You hold a BS in Computer Science or have equivalent practical experience

  • Experience with experimentation / A-B testing or feature-flag / config platforms

  • Built creator- or developer-facing products

  • Backend experience in ; frontend in React/TypeScript

  • Exposure to real-time or large-scale data pipelines (e.g., Druid, Kafka)

  • Pragmatic & collaborative: you communicate clearly, ask good questions, and are low-ego about code and feedback

  • Full-stack-comfortable: you can move between backend services and a web frontend (TypeScript/React), and you’re not afraid to learn the half you know less well

  • A finisher: you take features from spec through launch with guidance from senior teammates, and you care that they keep working — testing, monitoring, and follow-through

  • Curious: you stay current and like understanding why a system behaves the way it does
