This is a hands-on senior engineering role focused on building and evolving a modern data and marketing intelligence platform.
You will work across the full technology stack, designing React and TypeScript experiences alongside Django and Python APIs and services.
The role offers ownership of complex features from architecture and development through deployment, monitoring, and production support.
You will collaborate closely with Product, UX, QA, and engineering teams to turn sophisticated business workflows into scalable, intuitive solutions.
You will also integrate with Google and other third-party platforms while strengthening application security, reliability, testing, and observability.
Beyond individual contributions, you will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and help establish stronger engineering standards.
This is an opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with meaningful technical leadership in a collaborative, agile, remote-first environment.
Accountabilities
Serve as a hands-on technical leader and subject matter expert across React/TypeScript and Django/Python.
Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features spanning React applications, Django APIs and services, and PostgreSQL data models.
Partner with Product and UX teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive, accessible, responsive user experiences.
Design secure, scalable RESTful APIs and integrations with Google and other third-party services.
Establish reusable frontend and backend patterns with clear system boundaries and pragmatic architectural tradeoffs.
Own automated testing across frontend, backend, and end-to-end layers to support reliable continuous integration and delivery.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, security, and observability.
Drive initiatives from discovery and technical design through implementation, deployment, documentation, and production support.
Evaluate and balance custom-built and open-source technologies according to product and operational requirements.
Proactively identify and resolve defects, technical debt, scalability concerns, and architectural risks.
Review technical designs and code while mentoring engineers and promoting strong engineering practices.
Collaborate across engineering squads and contribute to Agile planning, prioritization, and delivery.
Help shape technical direction and improve development speed, quality, and operational reliability.
Requirements
7+ years of experience developing production web applications, with strong hands-on expertise in both React/TypeScript and Python/Django.
Proven ability to independently own complex full-stack features and systems from conception through production.
Deep React expertise, including hooks, component architecture, accessibility, and state-management technologies such as Redux or Zustand.
Strong Django expertise, including ORM, migrations, authentication and authorization, and Django REST Framework or comparable API technologies.
Significant experience designing and operating RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, including validation, error handling, rate limiting, and varied data formats.
Strong PostgreSQL and relational database modeling skills, including query optimization and transactional design.
Advanced knowledge of modern frontend tooling such as Vite and NPM, as well as GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD platforms.
Strong automated testing experience using tools such as Vitest or Jest, Pytest, and Playwright across frontend, backend, and end-to-end applications.
Strong understanding of application security, API security, and secure software development practices.
Experience deploying and operating containerized applications in cloud environments; GCP and Kubernetes experience are a plus.
Exceptional architecture, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities across the full technology stack.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to influence engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong communication and collaboration skills within Agile, cross-functional development environments.
Ability to work remotely and effectively collaborate with distributed teams.
This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
