Role Title: Software Developer

Duration: 3 month contract with possible conversion

Preferred Location: Trinity, AL (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Role Description:

Our client is seeking a Software Developer to support and enhance manufacturing software systems at its Alabama facility. The role focuses on application support, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and development within a primarily .NET environment.

Responsibilities

• Support, troubleshoot, and improve existing manufacturing applications.

• Develop enhancements and new functionality using Agile development practices.

• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective solutions.

• Integrate applications with manufacturing systems and third-party software.

• Document recurring issues, solutions, and technical processes.

• Collaborate with the Global MES team and participate in after-hours support as needed.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 1-2 years of software development or application support experience.

• Experience with object-oriented programming, SQL, Agile, and version control.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and learning abilities.

Preferred Skills

• C#, .NET, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or similar development technologies.

• Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL

• Azure DevOps, Git, YAML, pipelines, Angular, or SSIS

• MES, manufacturing systems, PLCs, or shop-floor automation experience.
