Role Description
The Senior Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable back-end systems and services that power AI-driven and integrated solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will write clean, efficient, and testable code, review code from peers, and ensure software quality through automated testing and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define technical requirements, translating business needs into robust software solutions, and optimizing system performance and reliability. The role also includes mentoring less-experienced engineers, contributing to architectural decisions, and participating in continuous improvement of development processes and tooling.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture principles

Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks

Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration

Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in large-scale systems

Experience with AI-driven or automation solutions, systems integration, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or similar)

Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and performance tuning

Ability to write clean, maintainable code, conduct code reviews, and maintain high standards of software quality

Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Bachelorโs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required

Experience in mentoring engineers and contributing to technical strategy is highly beneficial
