Senior Software Engineer

2. About the Opportunity:

The Senior Software Engineer will join the Tokens & Wrapped Assets team within the Platform organization. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and operation of systems that manage token issuance, wrapping, and asset transformation across various blockchains. The position plays a critical role in maintaining reliable, scalable backend services that support flagship wrapped assets and advances on-chain financial innovation.

3. Responsibilities:

• Own complex token and wrapped asset projects from smart contract deployment to API design and production rollout across multiple chains.

• Build and maintain Go services and smart contracts that mint, burn, bridge, and reconcile wrapped assets, ensuring system correctness.

• Improve the asset transformation and migration pipeline to enhance speed and safety at scale.

• Collaborate with teams across Trading, Custody, Compliance, and other areas to deliver customer- and revenue-impacting features.

• Lead on-call responsibilities, develop observability tools, runbooks, and operational improvements for critical systems.

• Mentor junior engineers, participate in design reviews, and establish engineering best practices.

4. Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in software engineering with proficiency in backend languages, preferably Go.

• Practical blockchain experience, including smart contract development, on-chain integrations, or related services.

• Experience with distributed systems patterns such as APIs, event-driven architectures, data reconciliation, and on-call operations.

• Proven ability to independently manage complex projects in fast-paced, multi-chain or multi-system environments.

• Responsible use of generative AI to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality with human oversight.

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Annual base salary range: $186,065—$218,900 USD, varying by location.

• Total compensation may include equity, bonus eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
