Position Summary
The Senior Tax Accountant will play a crucial role on our tax team, assisting with federal, state, and international tax compliance, tax provision, audit support, process improvement, economic analysis, and more.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Tax Compliance:

Assist with federal and state income tax compliance, including single entity and consolidated tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions

Prepare US and Canada consumption tax returns

Conduct tax/legal research as needed and monitor changes to federal and state tax laws, analyzing potential impacts to the company

Manage tax notices and prepare responses to audit requests, including direct interaction with auditors

Involvement with international aspects of federal compliance

Develop relationships with professional consultants and advisors, including coordinating the flow of information for tax projects

Tax Provision

Assist with the preparation of worldwide ASC 740 quarterly and annual tax provisions within OneSource Tax Provision

Assist with the preparation of US federal, state, and international year-end and provision-to-return calculations
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3+ years of tax experience, including at least 1 year of mid-level compliance work.

Preferred qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Masters in Tax or JD (with tax focus). Experience in tax compliance, accounting, and research

US international tax experience a plus

Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS accounting principles

Hands-on experience with OneSource Tax Provision and Income Tax software.
