Job description

For an international organization in Brussels, we are urgently looking for an experienced

Senior Test Engineer

with strong

software testing and test automation

experience and an interest in using

AI tools to enhance the testing lifecycle

This is a

fully remote position

. Candidates can work remotely from Europe and do not need to relocate to Belgium.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates must be based in Europe. Work permit sponsorship is not provided.

Candidates need to be

fluent in English

Profile – Senior Test Engineer

Bachelor's or Master's degree;
6+ years of professional experience in software testing and test automation

;
Hands-on experience with

Playwright

;
Experience designing, developing and maintaining

automated test suites

;
Good understanding of

functional, regression and integration testing

;
Experience identifying, documenting and following up on defects;
Experience using

AI tools to support software testing and test automation

;
Ability to leverage AI for activities such as

test case generation, test analysis, test data creation and test automation

;
Interest in adopting

AI-driven testing approaches

to improve testing efficiency, coverage and quality;
Experience with

test automation frameworks

and modern software development tools;
Knowledge of

CI/CD pipelines

;
Experience working with

Git

;
Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum methodologies

;
Fluent in English.

Nice to Have:

Experience with

Kiro

or similar AI-assisted development tools;
Understanding of

AI-assisted software development and testing workflows

;
Ability to integrate AI-assisted development practices into the

QA and testing lifecycle

;
Knowledge of

API testing
