Position Summary
SD Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow System Administrator / Junior Developer to provide day-to-day platform administration, configuration, operational support, and development assistance for the IRS IRWorks ServiceNow environment. The position will support users, workflows, access controls, CMDB, releases, upgrades, testing, and platform maintenance while working alongside senior developers and architects.
Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day ServiceNow platform administration.

Configure and maintain users, groups, roles, and access controls.

Administer Service Catalog items and related workflows.

Configure workflows and automation using Flow Designer.

Support SLA configuration and administration.
-
Maintain CMDB records and support CSDM compliance.

Troubleshoot user and platform issues.

Create and manage Update Sets.
-
Support instance cloning and environment synchronization.
-
Assist with ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and releases.

Perform platform health and maintenance activities.

Develop basic ServiceNow scripts and configurations.

Support incident, problem, and change management processes.

Execute testing using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) where applicable.

Assist with integrations, data imports, and platform configurations.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and knowledge-transfer activities.

Escalate complex platform issues to Senior Developers and Architects.
Required Qualifications
-
3+ years of ServiceNow / Enterprise Service Management experience.

At least 2 years supporting Federal Government environments.

Experience administering enterprise ServiceNow environments.

Experience with Service Catalog administration and users/groups/roles/ACLs.

Experience with Flow Designer and SLA administration.

Working knowledge of CMDB and CSDM.

Experience with Update Sets, instance cloning, upgrades, and patching.

Experience troubleshooting ServiceNow platform issues.

Familiarity with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent relevant technical experience may be considered where permitted.
Required Certifications
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) - Required
Relevant ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification(s) - Required
