Job Summary

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and managing site activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The Site Engineer will coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and workers to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all daily construction and installation activities at the project site.

• Study and understand approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.

• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings and technical specifications.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager regarding project progress, manpower, materials, and site requirements.

• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.

• Identify technical issues at the site and provide appropriate solutions.

• Prepare and monitor daily work progress reports.

• Ensure materials required for the project are requested and available on time.

• Coordinate with the procurement and store departments regarding material requirements.

• Monitor manpower productivity and allocate workers according to project requirements.

• Ensure work is completed within the approved project schedule.

• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors when required.

• Follow up on pending works and ensure timely completion.

• Prepare measurements and verify completed work for billing purposes when required.

• Ensure compliance with company quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

• Report site issues, delays, material shortages, and other concerns to management immediately.

• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, drawings, approvals, and reports.

• Ensure proper coordination between different teams and trades at the site.

• Monitor rectification works and ensure snags are completed before project handover.

• Support project handover and final inspection activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.

• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant UAE/GCC experience in construction or related projects.

• Experience in site supervision and project execution.

• Ability to read and understand engineering and construction drawings.

• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and site procedures.

• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and safety requirements is preferred.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.

• Good reporting and documentation skills.

• Ability to communicate effectively with management, clients, consultants, and contractors.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
