Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all waterproofing projects across multiple sites from start to handover

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and main contractors

  • Attend client and site meetings and coordination meetings, and prepare minutes and follow-ups

  • Prepare, confirm and monitor work schedules and site programmes

  • Plan and assign manpower, materials and equipment across sites

  • Supervise application of waterproofing systems (membranes, PU/liquid coatings, cementitious, injection, insulation)

  • Make sure work follows the method statements, ITPs and manufacturer specifications

  • Arrange inspections and approvals with consultants, and close out NCRs and snag lists

  • Track progress and send daily and weekly reports to management

  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on deliveries and site access

  • Support quotations, site surveys, measurements and variation claims

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering

  • At least 5 years of experience in waterproofing or civil works, with at least 2 of those years in Qatar or the GCC

  • Proven experience running several sites at the same time

  • Good knowledge of waterproofing systems for roofs, basements, tanks, podiums and wet areas

  • Familiar with QCS 2014 and with consultant approval procedures

  • Valid Qatar driving license (required)

  • Transferable visa / QID preferred

Skills

  • Strong client handling and negotiation skills

  • Good spoken and written English (Arabic, Hindi or Malayalam is a plus)

  • Good at planning, scheduling and solving problems

  • Able to lead site teams and supervisors

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Can read drawings and specifications

Personal Attributes

  • Takes ownership of results and works well with little supervision

  • Punctual and organised, and willing to visit sites every day

  • Comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines
