Site Engineer

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day execution of interior fit-out and contracting projects, ensuring that site activities are carried out according to approved drawings, quality standards, and project timelines. You’ll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and the internal team to coordinate works, resolve site issues, and keep projects moving smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and ensure work is progressing according to the project schedule.

• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements and ensure works are executed accordingly.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure all works meet the required standards.

• Coordinate between different trades, including civil, architectural, MEP, joinery, and finishing works.

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify and resolve technical or execution issues.

• Follow up on materials, deliveries, site measurements, and ensure materials are available as required.

• Monitor project progress and report any delays, issues, or requirements to the Project Manager.

• Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients and follow up on any comments or required rectifications.

• Maintain proper site documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and inspection records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably within interior fit-out, construction, or contracting.

• Good knowledge of interior finishing, construction methods, and site coordination.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

• Qatar or GCC experience is preferred.
