Role Description

The Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for supervising daily site activities, coordinating with civil and structural engineers, and ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. The Site Engineer will monitor progress, manage subcontractors and site staff, and support quality control procedures, including inspections and documentation. Responsibilities also include resolving technical issues on site, maintaining clear communication with project managers and consultants, and preparing regular reports on work status, materials, and compliance with project timelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and practical experience working on active construction projects.

• Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clear reporting to stakeholders.

• Candidates should possess quality control capabilities, with experience in inspections, compliance checks, and documentation of construction standards.

• Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional certification or membership in an engineering body is an advantage.

• Proficiency in construction software and MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools is beneficial.

• Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices in the United Arab Emirates.

• Ability to work independently on site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project needs and timelines.
