SITE MECHANICAL ENGINEER - GRADE A

Core Responsibilities

• Installation & Execution: Direct and supervise the on-site installation of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting, and specialized piping networks.

• Work Progress & Scheduling: Manage daily and weekly work schedules to ensure project milestones are met on time.

• Material Management: Inspect delivered mechanical materials and equipment against approved submittals to ensure quality, and track material quantities on-site.

• Drawings & Technical Review: Study shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and project specifications to execute works accurately and identify any design conflicts early.

• Testing & Commissioning: Conduct and document pressure tests, duct leakage tests, and equipment commissioning alongside QA/QC inspectors and clients.

• Safety Enforcement: Ensure all site workers adhere strictly to the project's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) plan and correct unsafe work practices immediately.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Expertise: Solid understanding of HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing systems, and basic structural/civil interfaces.

• Tools: Familiarity with AutoCAD, project management charts, and reading specialized engineering software readouts.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, leadership, clear communication, and the capacity to handle high-pressure environments on active construction zones.

Pay: QAR3,700.00 - QAR11,000.00 per month
