Site Supervision Civil Engineer -Civil Engineering Consultancy(work on site)

We are looking for a qualified Site Supervision Engineer to join our engineering consultancy team in Abu Dhabi.

The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out site supervision works, coordinating with contractors and consultants, reviewing site activities, and ensuring that construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements, and project standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities on site and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Monitor contractor work progress, quality, safety, and site coordination.

• Conduct site inspections and prepare supervision reports.

• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, clients, and relevant authorities.

• Review site issues and provide technical support when required.

• Ensure that all site works comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality / authority regulations and project requirements.

• Assist in reviewing material submissions, shop drawings, inspection requests, and method statements when needed.

• Report any non-compliance, defects, or delays to the project management team.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Abu Dhabi Engineer Card / Engineer Registration in one of the listed specialties.

• Minimum 7 years of total engineering experience.

• Previous experience in site supervision is required.

• Experience with engineering consultancy companies is preferred.

• Good knowledge of construction standards, site inspection procedures, and authority requirements in Abu Dhabi.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work on site and handle contractor coordination independently.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred Candidate

• Currently available in the UAE.

• Able to join immediately or within short notice.

• Familiar with Abu Dhabi project approval and supervision procedures.

• Experience in building, infrastructure, or civil/structural construction projects.
