Role Description

Experience: 4+ Years

Location: Dubai

Relocation: Candidates from India willing to relocate to Dubai

Visa: Initial 2 months on Business Visa, extendable up to 3 years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Snowflake Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Snowflake, SQL, data pipelines, ELT, and data modeling. Experience with investment or financial-services data is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain Snowflake data pipelines, tables, views, procedures, tasks, and streams.

Develop ingestion, staging, cleansing, transformation, and consumption layers.

Create source-to-target mappings for investment, portfolio, accounting, market, and reference data.

Develop reusable data models for holdings, transactions, instruments, valuations, cash, performance, and historical data.

Handle historical data migration, backfill, reconciliation, and data-quality validation.

Implement data-quality checks, exception handling, audit controls, and reconciliation logic.

Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse usage, queries, data loading, and costs.

Implement data security using RBAC, masking, secure views, and data segregation.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, Integration, Governance, and Testing teams.

Prepare technical documentation, deployment scripts, data dictionaries, and handover materials.

Must-Have Skills

4+ years of Data Engineering experience with strong hands-on Snowflake expertise.

Strong SQL and complex data transformation skills.

Experience with data pipelines, ELT processes, and data modeling.

Experience with ETL/ELT tools, orchestration, cloud storage, APIs, and BI/reporting layers.

Hands-on experience with data migration, reconciliation, and data-quality processes.

Good understanding of data governance, lineage, access control, and sensitive data handling.

Excellent communication skills.

Preferred

Experience in investment management, financial services, accounting, portfolio, or market data.

Exposure to public/private investment data structures and historical datasets.
