Job Overview
Arcturus Technology Ltd is seeking a talented and proactive
Software Developer
to join our development team. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining software applications for a wide range of business clients. This role is ideal for a developer looking to work in a collaborative environment with exposure to web and mobile development, ERP integration, and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software applications for business clients.

Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality web and mobile solutions.
-
Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following industry best practices.
-
Integrate third-party systems, including ERP and cloud services.
-
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle—from requirements to deployment.
-
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure reliable performance.
-
Review peer code and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
-
Maintain technical documentation for future development and support.
-
Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks.
-
Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and regulatory standards.
-
Perform any other reasonable duties related to the business as required.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
-
Experience in full-stack development and working with modern frameworks.
-
Familiarity with integrating third-party APIs and ERP systems.
-
Strong understanding of software testing and version control tools.
-
Ability to document processes and write technical documentation.
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
-
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Note: You may be required to provide proof of qualifications or registrations with statutory bodies upon request.
Working Hours
-
20 hours per week
-
Flexibility in working patterns may be required to meet project needs
-
Includes paid refreshment breaks
Remuneration
-
£13,200 per annum
-
Paid monthly via BACS
-
Salary reviewed every six months (review does not guarantee increase)
-
Overtime paid in accordance with company policy
Holiday Entitlement
-
28 days of paid holiday per year (pro-rated for part-time)
-
Unpaid holidays may be granted in special circumstances, subject to management approval
-
Holiday dates must be approved 14 days in advance
Sickness Policy
-
Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) in line with current legislation
-
Qualifying days: Monday to Friday
-
No additional company sick pay scheme
