What You Will Do

Develop, extend, and support technical aspects of our Beacon ETRM system, including market data tools, real-time risk monitoring, and confirms processing

Help maintain and enhance interfaces with third-party systems, including exchange feeds, risk and credit systems, and regulatory reporting tools

Support front, middle, and back office technology needs such as invoicing, inventory management, and end-of-day batch processes

Contribute to deal life-cycling, reconciliation processes, and system data integrity checks

Write and maintain unit tests to ensure reliable, high-quality software

Collaborate closely with Trading, Quant, Risk, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
What you bring & who you are:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field

Experience with Python – any other modern object-oriented programming language is also welcome

Strong communicator who enjoys connecting with people across different functions, such as Trading, Quant, and Tech

Analytical and solution-focused, with a knack for fast, creative problem-solving

Ideally, some exposure to the commodities or energy trading industry, or knowledge of US energy markets

You'll join the IT & ETRM System Development team within Axpo US, working alongside Traders, Quants, and Tech colleagues who value open collaboration. We're a diverse group that supports each other, shares knowledge freely, and welcomes every perspective.
Salary Range*: 30 USD - 35 USD per hour
- The actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
