Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Greater Dublin. The Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain software components for security and building management solutions, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and integration with third-party systems. Day-to-day work includes writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, debugging and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on solution design and architecture. The role also involves contributing to technical documentation, improving development processes, and supporting deployment and maintenance activities for enterprise customers. The Software Engineer will work closely with product management and QA to ensure features meet security, performance, and usability requirements.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming in C#, proficiency in modern languages commonly used for backend or systems development.

Practical skills in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and integration with databases and external hardware

Solid understanding and application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for designing maintainable and extensible software solutions.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with secure coding practices and familiarity with security or building management domains is a plus.

Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, with clear communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies is beneficial.
