Role Summary
We are seeking an API Developer with Java and Spring Boot experience to design and develop APIs. The successful candidate will work to deliver reliable RESTful services.
Primary Technology Stack:
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, API Security (OAuth / JWT), Git.
Required Skills & Experience :

Experience developing applications using
Java
and
Spring Boot

Understanding of
REST API
design principles and best practices.

Experience with microservices architecture and API integration patterns.

Experience of API security concepts JWT, TLS, and authentication/authorisation mechanisms.

Experience with relational databases.

Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.

Understanding of automated testing practices.

Ability to assess the impact of proposed API changes and plan implementation activities.

Ability to communicate technical decisions, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines effectively.

Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and presenting solutions to Principal Engineers.

Basic understanding of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar).

Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, documentation, and delivery outcomes.
