Our client seeks a Software Engineer to build and maintain digital platforms that support Defined Contribution plan administration. The role requires hands-on full-stack development across Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Angular, with exposure to Oracle and cloud deployment. You will contribute across the product lifecycle, including design, development, testing, CI/CD, and rotational production support, to deliver secure, resilient, and user-focused solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions for Workplace Investing platforms using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Oracle.

Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring and standard patterns including OAuth and Swagger.

Create Single Page Applications and reusable Angular components from scratch.

Integrate front-end applications with back-end services, connect endpoints, and query data.

Implement service transformation, routing, enrichment, and orchestration patterns.

Apply DevOps practices with CI/CD, GIT, Maven, and automated testing using JUnit.

Contribute to containerization and cloud deployment, preferably in Azure.

Provide rotational, on-call production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Collaborate within an agile team to deliver high-quality, maintainable software aligned to roadmap objectives.
Experience Requirements

3-6+ years of programming experience with Java and JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, HTML5, CSS, and JSON.

Proficiency with Java 8+, Spring/Spring Boot, REST, J2EE, SQL, JUnit, and Tomcat.

Knowledge of microservice architecture, REST patterns, OAuth, Swagger, and Apache Camel.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GIT, Maven, and JIRA in an agile environment.

Familiarity with containerization and cloud deployment, preferably Azure.

Experience developing pattern-based solutions and libraries, interceptors, or SDKs.

Understanding of data structures including trees and graphs with hands-on traversal implementations.

Oracle and SQL experience for data access and performance-minded queries.

Ability to onboard independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
