You'll build and maintain customer-facing experiences, integrate cloud-hosted services and APIs, automate delivery pipelines and partner with teams across Bentley to improve how technical content is created, published and consumed.

Why Join Us?

  • Own and influence a highly visible customer-facing platform used around the globe.

  • Work across the full technology stack, from frontend experiences to cloud services and DevOps automation.

  • Help shape modern search and AI-powered documentation experiences.

  • Partner with engineering teams across Bentley and influence platform standards at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and enhance a production web platform using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Python.

  • Develop frontend integrations and interactive user experiences.

  • Integrate cloud-hosted services and REST APIs supporting search, discovery, and AI-powered experiences.

  • Debug issues that span frontend applications, APIs, backend services, and infrastructure.

  • Own and improve Azure DevOps pipelines used to build, validate, and publish documentation.

  • Create and maintain automation using Python, PowerShell, and related tooling.

  • Improve platform performance, reliability, observability, and release processes.

  • Partner with product and platform teams to integrate documentation into build and release workflows.

  • Provide tooling, guidance, and technical expertise to help teams publish documentation consistently and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with documentation leadership, Release Services, and infrastructure teams to evolve the platform and its capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS in production web applications.

  • Experience with backend development or automation using Python.

  • Comfortable working across frontend, backend, and automation codebases.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell experience preferred).

  • Practical understanding of build, deploy, and release workflows.

  • Experience integrating REST APIs into web applications.

  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted services and APIs; AWS experience is a plus.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues that span applications, APIs, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.

  • Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems.

  • This role does not require travel.

  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).

What will make you stand out:

  • Experience owning or maintaining a public‑facing website or platform.

  • Experience extending or maintaining open source or internal development tooling.
