  JOB SUMMARY

  Global Shop Solutions is hiring a Software Engineer on Product & Engineering. We are an AI-forward engineering organization, and you will use AI-assisted tools daily to accelerate design, implementation, debugging, and documentation while applying strong judgment about what to accept, verify, or reject. You will own delivery on assigned product areas without constant guidance and help the team sharpen its approach to practical AI adoption. A strong fit for developers with professional experience ready to grow toward senior-level scope.

  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, implement, test, and maintain software, using AI-assisted tools to move faster while keeping quality and team standards high

  • Evaluate AI-generated code critically for correctness, security, maintainability, and over-engineering before accepting or shipping it

  • Own assigned work end-to-end and investigate production issues, using AI alongside logs and observability tools when it genuinely helps

  • Contribute observations that improve how the team adopts AI in workflows, tooling, and knowledge-sharing

  JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship

  • CS degree or equivalent professional software engineering experience

  • Production codebase experience with design, implementation, testing, and code review

  • Source control fluency, SQL beyond basic CRUD, and debugging experience with logs or diagnostic tools

  • AI-forward engineering experience: practical use of AI tools in professional development, with judgment to validate outputs and avoid over-reliance on generated results

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • .NET or enterprise ERP/manufacturing software

  • Static analysis or linting tools

  • Liaison experience with stakeholders on defined increments of work
