Software Engineer – (Hybrid Mobile App Developer – Flutter & React)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile App Engineer / Technical Lead to lead the enhancement, maintenance, and continuous evolution of enterprise mobile applications built using Flutter. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality mobile experiences, driving architectural improvements, ensuring application stability, and implementing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

• Design and implement new features aligned with business objectives and user needs.

• Ensure high-quality, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Deliver seamless and consistent user experiences across Android and iOS platforms.

• Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performing mobile interfaces.

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations with Microsoft Azure services and enterprise backend systems.

• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, SSO, Azure AD, and Azure B2C.

• Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient communication between mobile applications and backend platforms.

• Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Automate build, test, deployment, and release management processes.

• Manage environment configurations across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

• Implement DevSecOps practices, automated quality gates, security scanning, and release governance.

• Manage mobile application releases, including App Store and Google Play Store submissions.

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, crashes, and production issues.

• Optimize application responsiveness, rendering performance, battery usage, and network efficiency.

• Monitor application health using observability, crash reporting, and analytics platforms.

• Implement proactive monitoring through Application Insights, Firebase Crashlytics, and related tools.

• Conduct mobile application security reviews and implement OWASP Mobile Security best practices.

• Ensure secure handling of authentication, authorization, sensitive data, and API communication.

• Implement secure storage, encryption, certificate pinning, and secrets management solutions.

• Ensure adherence to security, privacy, governance, and compliance requirements.

• Improve code quality through refactoring, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop and maintain unit, widget, and integration test coverage.

• Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Partner closely with QA teams to ensure quality releases and effective defect resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Flutter and Dart.

• Experience building, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade cross-platform mobile applications.

• Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns.

• Hands-on experience with state management frameworks.

• Experience managing the full mobile application lifecycle across multiple releases.

• Strong experience with RESTful API integration and backend connectivity.

• Understanding of GraphQL and API integration best practices.

• Experience implementing Authentication using OAuth2, JWT, Single Sign-On (SSO) and Secure API Communication

• Experience integrating third-party platforms and enterprise systems.

• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.

• Understanding of cloud-native application architecture and mobile-cloud integrations.

• Experience supporting scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.

• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.

• Knowledge of environment management, deployment automation, and release governance.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.

• Strong understanding of OWASP Mobile Security standards.

• Experience with Android Keystore, iOS Keychain, Certificate Pinning and Encryption Practices

• Knowledge of data privacy, compliance requirements, and secure coding practices.

• Expertise in mobile performance optimization and troubleshooting.

• Experience with memory management, crash diagnostics, and application profiling.

• Hands-on experience with Firebase Crashlytics, Azure Application Insights, Analytics and Monitoring Platforms.

• Ability to identify and resolve production issues effectively.

• Advanced knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Strong code review and quality assurance practices.

• Experience with Unit Testing, Widget Testing, Integration Testing and Automated Test Execution.

• Experience managing App Store and Google Play Store deployment processes.

Preferred Skills

• Flutter flavor-based builds and environment management.

• Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.

• Familiarity with SonarQube, static code analysis, and automated quality assurance tools.

• Experience with Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, or similar observability platforms.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5+ years of professional mobile application development experience.

• Proven experience delivering and supporting production-grade Flutter applications.

• Experience integrating mobile applications with Microsoft Azure services.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience supporting applications through multiple releases and platform upgrades.

• Experience with application modernization, technical debt reduction, refactoring, and platform migration projects.

• Experience delivering large-scale mobile applications with complex integrations and enterprise-grade requirements.

• Experience in digital transformation, enterprise mobility, hospitality, entertainment, retail, government, or public-sector projects.
