Hybrid: ad hoc travel to central London / Surrey

Rate: 350-400 outside IR35

C# | .NET | Selenium | BDD | Financial Services

We’re looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Test Automation Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team within a leading financial services organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on testing and automation experience to develop their technical skills while contributing to the delivery of high-quality, reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tests using C#, .NET and Selenium.

• Create test plans, test cases and regression test suites.

• Collaborate with developers, BAs and product owners to define acceptance criteria using BDD and Gherkin.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform manual testing where required and manage defects through to resolution.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Skills

• Practical experience in software testing and test automation.

• Working knowledge of C# and Selenium.

• Understanding of BDD, Gherkin and Agile delivery.

• Knowledge of test planning, regression testing and defect management.

• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• Experience with SpecFlow, CI/CD pipelines and .NET applications.

• ISTQB/ISEB testing qualification.
