Join the Point-of-Sale Modernization team as a technical software engineer. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.
Location: Hybrid (Lakeland, FL): To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Your Impact

Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the POS platform, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability

Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the capabilities of the point-of-sale

Assist with production installs, pilot monitoring, and problem determination

Work closely with quality assurance and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software solutions that will enhance customer experience

Stay up to date on emerging technologies that may be applied to the point-of-sale

Ensure the code you develop meets security and compliance policies

Participate in and be an advocate for Test Driven Development
