Join the Point-of-Sale Modernization team as a technical software engineer. We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical, planning, problem-solving, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will effectively communicate with management, peers, technology vendors, and business unit customers.

Location: Hybrid (Lakeland, FL): To support our hybrid work model, candidates must reside, or be willing to relocate, within a commutable distance of Lakeland, FL.

Interview Process: Candidates selected to advance in the interview process will be required to participate in at least one onsite interview at our Lakeland, FL campus.

Your Impact

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the POS platform, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions

  • Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the capabilities of the point-of-sale

  • Assist with production installs, pilot monitoring, and problem determination

  • Work closely with quality assurance and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software solutions that will enhance customer experience

  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies that may be applied to the point-of-sale

  • Ensure the code you develop meets security and compliance policies

  • Participate in and be an advocate for Test Driven Development
