Software Engineer ( Javascript, React, Typescript, CSS )

Dublin - Hybrid 2 - 3 days per week

6 months + contract

€500 - €525 per day

A Senior Software Engineer with experience across Javascript, React, Typescript and CSS is needed to join a large scale transformation programme for a client based in Dublin, Ireland.

The purpose of the role is to increase development capacity to improve customer experience.

As the Software Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Design, Develop and maintain responsive web applications that provide integrated seamless experiences.

  • Collaborate with designers and business stakeholders to implement quality user friendly web interfaces.

  • Write clean, maintainable and efficient code using modern web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS and web frame works like React, React Native, Angular or Next).

  • Help create and Integrate API’s and third-party services.

  • Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality.

  • Work closely with cross functional teams including designers, developers and business stakeholders.

  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning, standups and retrospectives.

  • Communicate effectively with stake holders and business units to better understand the need and ensure its being met through technical specifications.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for web applications, including setup, guides and API documentation.

The key skills experience required includes:

  • Proficiency in front end technologies, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript and modern frameworks, react.js, next.js etc

  • Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Express) and restful API’s.

  • Comfortable developing through the full stack from front end to services.

  • Experience with Git and GitHub workflows.

  • Familiarity with building microservices / event-based architectures.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, Azure SQL and NoSQL).

  • Proficient in Azure services

  • Clear communicator and collaborator with stakeholders and project teams

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
