Software Engineer – Robotics Education(Junior)

RUIGUAN TECH INC is a robotics education organization specializing in VEX Robotics, programming education, and competitive robotics training.

Our coaching team has achieved VEX Robotics World Championship titles in 2016, 2019, 2023, and 2024, demonstrating our extensive experience in developing world-class robotics teams.

No Experience Required – We Will Train You!

You do not need previous experience in robotics, VEX competitions, programming instruction, or teaching to apply.

At RUIGUAN, we have a comprehensive, structured training and mentorship system designed to help new employees develop their skills step by step, even if they are starting from zero.

Our experienced coaches will guide you through robotics fundamentals, programming, teaching methods, competition preparation, and team coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and teach robotics programming and engineering fundamentals to students.

• Receive training in VEX Robotics systems, programming, and competition strategies.

• Assist with robotics classes, student practice sessions, and hands-on activities.

• Gradually develop the skills required to coach competitive VEX Robotics teams.

• Help students troubleshoot, test, and improve their robots and programs.

• Collaborate with experienced coaches to prepare students for local, national, and international competitions.

• Follow the company's structured curriculum and teaching standards.

• Track student progress and maintain a positive, disciplined learning environment.

Requirements

• Fluent communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English are required.

• Strong Mandarin Chinese proficiency is essential, as the role requires frequent communication in Chinese.

• Strong sense of responsibility and a positive work attitude.

• Willingness to work hard, learn continuously, and follow a structured training program.

• Good communication skills, patience, and an interest in working with students.

• Ability to work on-site in Irvine, California, including weekends.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred but NOT Required

• Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or STEM.

• Basic knowledge of C++, Python, or other programming languages.

• Previous experience with VEX Robotics or other robotics competitions.

• Experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students.

Applicants without prior robotics, programming, or teaching experience are welcome. We provide training from the ground up.
