Role Description

This is a full-time, remote Software Engineer role. The Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain back-end services and data pipelines that power Segmental AI’s intelligent data transformation platform. Responsibilities include developing production-grade software, optimizing performance for large-scale document processing, and implementing secure, reliable APIs and integrations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate business and product requirements into technical solutions, writing clean, testable code, and participating in code reviews and architecture discussions. The Software Engineer will also help improve tooling, monitoring, and deployment processes to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.

• Proficiency in Coding Agent, Software Development and Programming, with experience building production-quality applications.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and containerization (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, Docker).

• Knowledge of security best practices and interest in building solutions for financial or enterprise environments.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ Years experience in Software Development
