Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the accounting function of two separate legal entities in Riyadh: a wood manufacturing company and a local shipment and delivery company. You will keep the books of each entity separate, lead the accounting team, and work closely with Group Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for both entities, keeping their books fully separate

• Complete month-end close and prepare accurate financial reports

• Handle cost allocation, cost control and periodic cost reports

• Manage freight/trip-based revenue recognition, fleet and driver-linked costs, and COD (cash-on-delivery) collections for the shipment business

• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat and ZATCA e-invoicing

• Support external audits of both entities at the same time

• Lead and guide all accounting staff across both entities

• Follow Group-level accounting policies and report to Group Finance

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• CMA, ACCA or SOCPA is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting

• Experience handling accounts for more than one legal entity

• Cost accounting experience, including cost allocation, cost control and cost reporting

• Experience in the logistics or shipment industry is strongly preferred

Systems & Skills

• Hands-on experience with an ERP system (Odoo, Oracle, SAP or similar). Odoo is a strong plus, as the Group is rolling it out now

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling)

• Strong analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills

• High accuracy and attention to detail under tight closing deadlines

• Excellent English and Arabic communication

• Able to work independently while following Group policy

Pay: ﷼6,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
