This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Digital Product Manager, Forecasting based in the United States.
This senior product leadership role shapes digital products that transform forecasting, planning, scenario evaluation, and complex business decision-making.
You will work at the intersection of business strategy, customer needs, data science, and technology to turn advanced analytics into intuitive, scalable solutions.
The role spans diverse business functions, including commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and research and development.
You will define product visions and roadmaps while guiding multidisciplinary teams from discovery through launch, adoption, and growth.
The position requires strong judgment and the ability to translate sophisticated models, uncertainty, and analytical outputs into actionable business insights.
You will also explore emerging capabilities such as generative AI, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and agentic technologies.
As a senior leader, you will influence executives, mentor product talent, and help build an outcome-oriented digital product culture.
Accountabilities:

Translate digital strategy into clear product visions, roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and measurable outcomes for forecasting and decision-support products.

Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, planning challenges, assumptions, and decision-making needs across commercial, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and research and development functions.

Identify opportunities where forecasting, optimization, simulation, scenario planning, automation, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled decision support can improve business outcomes.

Frame complex and ambiguous business challenges as compelling product opportunities and define solutions that balance customer needs, business value, data, and technical feasibility.

Partner closely with business leaders, data scientists, engineers, architects, designers, and other specialists to translate analytical models and methods into scalable, intuitive digital products.

Ensure forecasting and decision-support products clearly communicate assumptions, uncertainty, trade-offs, model outputs, and limitations to users and decision-makers.

Establish appropriate approaches for monitoring model performance, product adoption, user experience, and measurable business outcomes.

Influence senior stakeholders and reconcile competing priorities to align teams around a shared product vision, roadmap, and definition of success.

Identify and responsibly incorporate generative AI, agentic capabilities, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation into product strategies where they can create meaningful value.

Establish effective operating rhythms, decision rights, documentation, and communication practices across globally distributed teams.

Drive product adoption and value realization by measuring improvements in business performance, operational efficiency, decision quality, and customer experience.

Mentor product managers and contribute to strengthening product management practices, capabilities, and an outcome-focused culture across the organization.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum experience requirements may be met through one of the following combinations: doctorate degree plus 2 years of digital product management experience; master’s degree plus 6 years; bachelor’s degree plus 8 years; associate’s degree plus 10 years; or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years.

At least 2 years of direct people-management experience and/or demonstrated leadership experience managing teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.

Proven experience as a digital product leader connecting business strategy, customer needs, data and analytics, and technology.

Demonstrated success leading data-intensive, analytical, or decision-support products through discovery, development, launch, adoption, and scaling.

Strong understanding of forecasting, predictive analytics, optimization, simulation, scenario planning, machine learning, or other advanced analytical capabilities.

Ability to work effectively with data scientists and technical teams, constructively challenge assumptions, and explain model outputs, uncertainty, and limitations to nontechnical audiences.

Strong knowledge of technology ecosystems, enterprise data platforms, and digital architecture principles.

Experience applying Agile methodologies within multidisciplinary product, engineering, and data science teams.

Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, navigate competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and build alignment without relying solely on formal authority.

Exceptional communication, facilitation, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills, particularly when translating complex technical or analytical concepts into clear business narratives.

Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, supply chain, or another complex planning environment is preferred.

Experience mentoring product managers or senior individual contributors and strengthening broader product management capabilities is preferred.

Strong customer-first, outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to balance user needs, business value, analytical rigor, and technical feasibility.
