Sr. Electrical Engineer

Theme Crafters Building Contracting LLC is looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical design, control panels, electrical systems integration, shop drawings, fabrication support, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

We are looking for an engineer who can take ownership of electrical works from design and shop drawings through fabrication, installation, testing, and final implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering works across workshop and project sites.

• Design and review electrical systems, wiring, control panels, distribution systems, and electrical interfaces.

• Prepare and review electrical shop drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and panel drawings.

• Ensure electrical designs are practical, safe, and suitable for actual fabrication and installation.

• Design and review control panels, including components, wiring, protection devices, relays, contactors, terminals, power supplies, and control circuits.

• Coordinate electrical systems with Mechanical, Automation, Design, Production, and Site teams.

• Support the integration of electrical systems with motors, sensors, actuators, VFDs, servo systems, PLCs, and other automation equipment.

• Review electrical materials, components, and equipment to ensure compliance with approved requirements.

• Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems and control panels during workshop testing and site installation.

• Identify design and implementation issues and provide practical engineering solutions.

• Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.

• Prepare and review electrical documentation, test reports, I/O information, as-built drawings, and handover documents.

• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and internal teams when required.

• Ensure electrical works comply with applicable safety requirements, project specifications, and approved drawings.

• Visit workshops and project sites regularly to monitor and resolve electrical issues.

• Be hands-on and actively participate in troubleshooting and implementation whenever required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field.

• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.

• Strong practical experience in electrical design and control panel systems.

• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single-line diagrams, and control circuits.

• Proven experience in control panel design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with motors, VFDs, relays, contactors, sensors, power supplies, protection devices, and control components.

• Understanding of PLC and automation interfaces is highly preferred.

• Experience working with Mechanical and Automation teams on integrated systems.

• Ability to review and understand electrical shop drawings and fabrication drawings.

• Experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and applicable standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good English communication and coordination skills.

• Able to lead technical work and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

• UAE experience is an advantage.
