Role Description

The Sr. Electrical Tendering Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for managing the electrical tendering process from initial inquiry to final submission. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project specifications and drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations, and analyzing technical requirements to ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards. The role involves coordinating with procurement teams to obtain competitive material and equipment pricing, communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and preparing technical and commercial bid documents. The Sr. Electrical Tendering Engineer will also support value engineering proposals, maintain tender documentation, and collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure successful handover of awarded projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in electrical engineering, with experience in MEP projects, tendering, and estimation for electrical systems.

• Candidates should possess skills in preparing quotations and commercial proposals, including cost breakdowns, BOQs, and bid documentation.

• Candidates should possess analytical skills to review technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements, and to perform accurate cost and risk analysis.

• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, and for presenting technical and commercial clarifications.

• Candidates should possess procurement-related skills, including sourcing materials, evaluating supplier offers, and negotiating competitive pricing and terms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; professional certifications in project management or estimation are an advantage.

• Relevant experience in tendering or electrical estimation within contracting or construction companies, preferably in KSA or GCC markets.

• Proficiency in MS Office and estimation tools; familiarity with CAD drawings and MEP design standards.

• Ability to work on-site in Dammam, manage multiple tenders under time constraints, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy.
