Micron is seeking an experienced NAND Storage Architect, Strategist, and Product Manager to help define and implement next-generation NAND technologies and methods for managing stored data in client SSDs.

In this role, you will connect NAND architecture with business priorities, customer requirements, and market opportunities. You will work across Product Management, System Architecture, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, OEMs, and industry partners to develop differentiated storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Define NAND architecture, technology-node, and storage-solution strategies aligned with Micronâs business goals.

Develop NAND storage requirements, including performance, reliability, power, packaging, cost, and system-level capabilities.

Lead NAND roadmap planning from concept through product lifecycle achievements, using market trends, customer insights, and AI-workload requirements to guide decisions.

Own NAND Storage Marketing Requirements Documents and support Technical Requirements Document development.

Translate OEM, ecosystem, and business needs into clear product requirements and actionable technology plans.

Evaluate NAND industry trends, competitor roadmaps, architectures, and emerging technologies to see opportunities for differentiation.

Engage with OEMs, chipset vendors, standards organizations, and ecosystem partners to understand future storage needs.

Use AI-assisted tools and data analytics to improve research, planning, reporting, knowledge management, and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

10+ years of combined experience in semiconductor engineering, product management or design, product definition, system architecture, NAND technology, SSDs, or mobile storage products.

Solid understanding of NAND flash architecture, storage systems, memory subsystems, and semiconductor technologies.

Experience defining product requirements, technology roadmaps, and system-level product strategies.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, communicate recommendations, and influence decisions across teams without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Masterâs degree in a technical field or an MBA.

Experience with NAND technology, flash-memory architecture, and storage technologies such as SSDs, UFS, PCIe, and NVMe.

Experience working with OEMs, platform vendors, ecosystem partners, or standards organizations.

Experience managing product requirements through tools such as Jama, Teamcenter, or a similar product lifecycle management platform.

Experience using AI-assisted tools, generative AI, data analytics, or workflow automation to improve product planning, market research, or strategic decision-making.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$171,000.00 - $356,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.**Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
